Program rules

Who can apply

Anyone, anywhere, subject to the sanctions and export laws that apply to us. Staff of frontier AI labs are not eligible for fellowships or cash prizes, since they already have the resources.

Outputs

• Supported work is published openly by default: code, data and a write-up.
• State the loop your work serves, and report honestly whether it turned, including negative results.
• Results in challenges must be reproducible from the submitted code.

Acknowledging Alphabell

If we supported your work, a short acknowledgement in the write-up is appreciated.

Payments

Grants, stipends and prizes are paid by bank transfer. Recipients are responsible for their own taxes.

Changes

Each program's terms are confirmed in writing before any support starts. Those written terms take precedence over this page.
