1. Scope

These terms apply to alphaBell's contributions to the
alphaBell-Qwen3.8-27B-Open model family and its accompanying documentation,
evaluation results and figures, to the extent alphaBell owns or controls the
rights required to license them (the "alphaBell Material"). Files expressly
identified as Apache-2.0, including the standalone evaluation and inference
scripts, are governed by that license instead.

Third-party material retains its own license. These terms do not replace,
restrict or expand the permissions granted directly by third-party licensors
over their original material.

2. Permission for noncommercial research

Subject to these terms, alphaBell grants a worldwide, royalty-free,
nonexclusive copyright license to use, reproduce, modify, display and
redistribute the alphaBell Material solely for noncommercial research.
Noncommercial research means scientific investigation, evaluation or
education that is not primarily intended for commercial advantage or
monetary compensation. Commercial products, commercial services and
commercial deployment of the alphaBell Material are outside this grant.

3. Attribution and redistribution

When redistributing alphaBell Material or modifications to it, you must:

(a) include this license and retain applicable attribution and license notices;
(b) identify alphaBell and https://alphabell.com as the source of alphaBell's
    contributions without suggesting endorsement;
(c) identify material changes you have made; and
(d) preserve these noncommercial research conditions for the alphaBell
    Material included in your distribution.

These conditions apply only to rights licensed by alphaBell. They do not
change an independently applicable third-party license or rights arising
under exceptions and limitations to copyright.

4. Upstream material

The Qwen parent is Qwen/Qwen3.8-27B, revision
1d4bf0f2ff6012fd82039f2fa52739d0dd7c60c0. Its original material is governed
by Apache License 2.0. A copy is included in

Training included examples from tatsu-lab/alpaca, whose data license is
Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International. A copy is

Stanford's Alpaca usage notice states that models trained using its dataset
should not be used outside research. This release is offered for
noncommercial research with that provenance disclosed. alphaBell grants no
additional rights in Qwen, Alpaca or any other third-party material, and
makes no representation that this license resolves every third-party right
that may apply to a particular use.

5. No trademark permission

These terms grant no trademark rights except reasonable attribution of the
source. You may not imply that alphaBell or upstream contributors endorse
your modifications or use.

6. Warranty and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the alphaBell Material is
provided "AS IS", without warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness
for a particular purpose, title or noninfringement. To the extent permitted
by applicable law, alphaBell is not liable for damages arising from use or
redistribution of the alphaBell Material. You are responsible for evaluating
its suitability and for obtaining any permissions required for your use.
